Acoustic devices

Audible signal devices ZIR-x are designed to give audible signals on pedestrian crossings equipped with traffic lights. Pursuant to Polish regulations described in “The Detailed Technical Conditions for Road Signals and Conditions on Placing them on the Roads” (clause 3.3.5.2) on the crossings with traffic lights use of the basic audible signal corresponding green light and auxiliary audible signal corresponding to red light as well as supplementary verbal announcements is permitted to inform the disabled on the work state of signalization.

The signalling devices we have in stock are designed to be mounted inside traffic lights for pedestrians. Innovative solution permits a use of directional loudspeaker on top of the light signal device without need for additional holes in the cover to lead the wires to the loudspeaker.

All types of audible signal devices ZIR-x are equipped with systems enabling dynamic adjustment of the volume of generated signals to external conditions. These devices thanks to a digital technique used in them do not demand permanent supervision. After its launch all what is needed is single maintenance regulation to set the lowest sound volume for green and red signals and for spoken messages. The devices cooperate with buttons’ circuits of all traffic lights controllers available not only in Poland – it works with 230V, 40V, 24V, transoptor circuits, etc. On customer’s demand discretional change of characteristics, both increasing the volume and frequency of the basic signals as well as spoken messages.

Technical details

All types of ZIR-x acoustic devices have circuits that make possible constant measurement of noise intensity and automatic adjustment of generated signals volume level to environmental conditions. Having activating them on object, they do not require, thanks to applied digital electronics, constant supervision.

During activation only single service control for setting lowest level of sound intensity for green and red signal and for verbal messages is required.

On customer’s request there is available arbitrary change of profile of sound intensity escalation and frequency of basic signals, as well as content of verbal messages can be easily customized.

ZIR-1

ZIR-1 devices – two-processor device intended for traffic lights equipped with buttons for pedestrians that generates:

  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green continuous signal,
  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green blink signal,
  • auxiliary sound signal which corresponds with red signal (send from button as guiding signal),
  • complementary verbal message that informs blinds about the state of traffic lights.

Note! The device intended to be installed at crossings with traffic lights equipped with a pedestrian push buttons.

ZIR-2

ZIR-2 devices – two-processor device intended for traffic lights without buttons for pedestrians that generates:

  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green continuous signal,
  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green blink signal,
  • complementary verbal message that informs blinds about the state of traffic lights.
ZIR-3

ZIR-3 devices – processor device intended for traffic lights equipped with buttons for pedestrians that generates:

  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green continuous signal,
  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green blink signal,
  • auxiliary sound signal which corresponds with red signal (send from button as guiding signal).

ZIR-4

ZIR-4 devices – processor device intended for traffic lights without buttons for pedestrians that generates:

  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green continuous signal,
  • basic sound signal which corresponds with green blink signal.
